WHEN CAN I BUY HEALTH INSURANCE? 
There are two times when you can buy health insurance:
Open Enrollment and Special Enrollment Periods

Open Enrollment for Individuals and Families

Open Enrollment for Individuals and Families

  • Eligible individuals can enroll for coverage from November 1 to January 31.
  • Enrollment is available for the Essential Plan, Medicaid and Child Health Plus all year long.

Open Enrollment for Medicare

Open Enrollment for Medicare

  • Eligible individuals can enroll for coverage from October 15 to December 7.
  • Enrollment is available all year long for individuals turning 65 during the three months before and after the month you turn 65.
